Really Really Big Questions About Science

After working on the Macmillan publication Really Really Big Questions About Me, I was absolutely over the moon to be asked to author the next book in the series.

The title will be Really Really Big Questions About Science, and at first, I was somewhat terrified by the idea of tackling THE WHOLE OF SCIENCE for kids in a single, fun-to-read book. Eeeek. But once I started mapping out ideas, things started to flow and my current draft is as much about concepts and general amazing-ness as it is about specific bits of the puzzle that is science.

Do dolphins gossip? Can anyone invent a new creature? Where does the internet live? What’s in empty space if it’s not empty? …These are just some of the questions I’ll be encouraging kids to think about.

The publication date is August 2014. I’ve just wrapped up my work on it, so it’s over to the editors and the fantastic illustrator to work their magic!
